WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER IS BACK!

To reserve your meal, please sign the attendance pad or contact the church office by 4:00PM on Monday. Since this Monday the church office is closed, please make sure you sign the attendance pad! The menu for Wednesday, September 8^th: Smothered Pork, Rice, Green Beans, Salad, Bread and Dessert. Please note that the cost for children (age 12 and under) is $2.50 per meal and for persons 12 and up is $7.00. If you can help with serving and/or cleaning up, please sign the sheet on the bulletin board in the fellowship hall. Thank you in advance!

LET’S WALK THE WALK!

Walk in the Gym for exercise and fellowship on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30AM – 10:00AM and/or from 6:30PM – 8:30PM. This is open to all.

MEN’S PRAYER & SHARE GROUP

The Men’s Prayer and Share Group will meet this Tuesday, September 7^th at 8:30AM in room 204. Coffee will be available. All men are invited to attend on the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesdays of each month.

LET’S PLAY SOME CO-ED VOLLEYBALL!

Let’s get together as a church family and play co-ed volleyball in the gym on Tuesday nights from 6:30PM – 8:30PM! Just show up and teams will be formed. Let’s Play!

TRUSTEES WILL BE HARD AT WORK!

The Trustees have met and you will be seeing some painting and “brightening up” of Bldg. 1 and the Sanctuary. If you would like to help the Trustees in any way, please contact Pete Wright at 968-6925.

SIGN UP NOW TO RECEIVE YOUR FLU SHOT

We will host a Flu Shot Clinic on Sunday, September 19^th from 9:30AM – 2:00PM in room 214. Please sign up in the church office as soon as possible so that we have enough shots to go around. Sign up your friends and family as well.

ANGEL FOOD

The deadline to order from the September Angel Food Menu is Wednesday, September 15^th at 4:00PM.

“WILDE BUNCH SUPPER CLUB

The “Wilde Bunch” Supper Club will meet on Saturday, September 18^th at 3:30PM here at the church to go to the Original Oyster House in Mobile. Please mark your calendar of this date change.

NARNIA: FUN FOR THE FAMILY HOUR!

Narnia: Fun For the Family Hour is scheduled for Sunday, October 17^th from 5:00PM – 6:00PM in the fellowship hall. This event is for everyone with children from pre-school though 12^th grade. Please sign up by September 26^th if you and your family are planning on attending. Sign up sheet will be in the church office.

There will be a Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, February 20^th at 8:00AM in the fellowship hall. More information will be provided in the near future.

“OLD HYMN SINGING”

We will have “Old Hymn Singing” on Sunday, February 21^st at 5:00PM in the fellowship hall. Bring a covered dish to share. See you there!

CHURCH-WIDE NATIONAL PRAYER SERVICE

Make your plans NOW to attend Pine Forest’s Church-Wide National Prayer Service on Wednesday, May 6^th at 6:30PM in the Sanctuary. Our Guest Speaker will be Mr. Malcolm Thomas, Escambia County Superintendent of Schools. We look forward to what Mr. Thomas has in store for us and we know that you will enjoy listening to him. There will be no evening activities except for the Wednesday Night Dinner at 5:30PM.

The Offering taken up each night will go towards Habitat For Humanity.

YARD SALE FOR MISSIONS

If you have any items for our upcoming Missions Yard Sale, please bring your items to the church’s Family Life Center, and place on the stage. If you need any assistance with getting your items to the church, please contact a Missions Committee Member. The date of the Yard Sale is Saturday, April 25^th. All proceeds will go towards the Peru Mission trip in June.
