MEN’S PRAYER & SHARE GROUP MEETING

The Men’s Prayer & Share Group will meet on Tuesday, January 3^rd at 8:30AM in Room 201. All men are invited to come for coffee, fellowship and prayer.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER

To attend the dinner, please sign up on the attendance pad or call the church office by 9:00am Tuesday morning. The menu for January 4^th is: Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Green Beans, Salad, Rolls, Apple Cobbler, Tea or Coffee. Cost: $5.00 per adult. The children are the guests of the Children’s Ministry.

A registration form is available online on our website: pineforestumc.org; print out one to send along with a registration fee of $35, made payable to: PineForest UMC. The $35 fee pays for::

8 weeks of practice, 6 weeks of games, the team t-shirt,

a basketball and *free tutoring per child.

(*free tutoring offered by area teachers, school administrators and college students)

There will be a Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, February 20^th at 8:00AM in the fellowship hall. More information will be provided in the near future.

“OLD HYMN SINGING”

We will have “Old Hymn Singing” on Sunday, February 21^st at 5:00PM in the fellowship hall. Bring a covered dish to share. See you there!

CHURCH-WIDE NATIONAL PRAYER SERVICE

Make your plans NOW to attend Pine Forest’s Church-Wide National Prayer Service on Wednesday, May 6^th at 6:30PM in the Sanctuary. Our Guest Speaker will be Mr. Malcolm Thomas, Escambia County Superintendent of Schools. We look forward to what Mr. Thomas has in store for us and we know that you will enjoy listening to him. There will be no evening activities except for the Wednesday Night Dinner at 5:30PM.

Thursday, April 9^th at Allen Memorial UMC at 6:30PM. Speaker: Rev. Mike Roberts, District Superintendent. Holy Communion will be served. No Refreshments after the service.

The Offering taken up each night will go towards Habitat For Humanity.

YARD SALE FOR MISSIONS

If you have any items for our upcoming Missions Yard Sale, please bring your items to the church’s Family Life Center, and place on the stage. If you need any assistance with getting your items to the church, please contact a Missions Committee Member. The date of the Yard Sale is Saturday, April 25^th. All proceeds will go towards the Peru Mission trip in June.
